We have 5 air-conditioned seminar rooms at the Parkhotel Pörtschach by the Wörthersee in Carinthia which all enjoy natural light and access outdoors. Even here, the retro style of the hotel is maintained, although when it comes to equipment all the rooms have the latest conference technology.
We have hosted all kinds of different events in our seminar and conference rooms, from an EU summit to exhibitions, car launches and dinners for 450 people.
Our large, 612 m² hotel restaurant, the event room Palm and the spacious hotel lobby are also popular venues for events and receptions.

Salon Velden
Salon Velden is on the same floor as the hotel lobby and restaurant. The distinctive interior design of this room reflects the high-quality 1960s architecture. This is a very popular room with our clients because of the adjacent lakeside terrace.
Salon Carinthia
Salon Carinthia offers direct access to the hotel’s beautiful grounds. The little terrace is ideal for a refreshing short break in the fresh air. This room is also on the same floor as the hotel lobby and restaurant.
Wörthersee I & II
The Wörthersee room is our largest seminar room and on the same level as the beach promenade. It can be flexibly divided up by a partition wall, making it suitable for many different kinds of events. The large glazed frontage offers direct views of the lake and makes the room bright and welcoming.
Hotel restaurant & Imperial dining area
The hotel restaurant is a very special place. Its situation overlooking the beach promenade gives it breathtaking views, with the lake literally at your feet. The spacious, open-plan hotel restaurant was refurbished in 2013, in keeping with the 1960s style of the hotel. The “Imperial” dining area is an extension of the hotel restaurant and also connects through to the hotel lobby.

The hotel lobby offers views through to the lakeside terrace and has a very special ambience. The clear-cut lines and beautiful architecture of the entrance hall and the sense of space make this the perfect venue for a stunning reception or press conference.
Event Room "Palm" with lakeside terrace
The Event Room "Palm" with lakeside terrace was given a gentle facelift in 2018. The “Swinging Sixties” flair that is so typical of the hotel was preserved, giving this venue a certain exclusivity. The Event Room "Palm" is a popular venue for corporate events, receptions and Christmas parties.
